Dear Parents/Carers,

We are writing in response to several queries raised regarding the school holidays at the end of this term.

Just to clarify, school will remain open until Friday December 18th, 2020 when it will close for the Christmas holidays.

School will reopen again on Monday 4th January 2021.

These dates will not change unless the Department of Education issue further instructions.

We are, however, aware that some concern has been expressed over the implications for Covid-19 and potential isolation over the Christmas period.

To reassure you, if your child is unable to attend school from Monday 14th December to the end of the term because of concerns relating to Covid-19 they will not be marked as absent. If requested online learning can be made available by informing your pupil’s class teacher.
