Recently, Koulla Yiasouma, the NI Commissioner for Children and Young People and CCEA joined together for a first ever live chat for primary and post primary pupils. A group of our pupils from across the age groups in Post Primary had the opportunity to explore and ask questions about issues affecting them.  They found out more about how to participate and improve the quality of their own lives.

Our pupils asked the NICCY Commissioner the following:

‘ What do you think about the issue of mobile phone use in schools?’

‘ Is the lack of a working government having an impact on children’s support services?’

The Commissioner addressed our questions and our pupils found the live chat throwing up some interesting questions and comments.
