Habitat for Humanity Assembly

23rd Feb 2017

In our senior school assembly this week Pete from Habitat for Humanity talked to us all about the great work that this charity does. He made us aware of the number of people who do not have “homes” like us, where we are safe, comfortable and warm. We are going to save our spare change every day, and a collection will be made by someone in class 12 O. We have collected for them before and think it is really worthwhile. They have opened a shop called RESTORE in Ballymena, and they sell second hand items to the public that have been donated. Why don’t you visit the shop and take anything you might have that would make them some money? Spread the word!!
