Middletown Centre for Autism Training

April and May 2018 saw parents, carers as well as teachers and LSA’s from Castle Tower, surrounding schools (Slemish College & St. Louis) and a local Autism Support group benefit from Autism Training facilitated by the “Middletown Centre for Autism”. Parent training was one of the goals identified by the ASD Core group last year.  As a follow up to courses offered last year, parents learned about the “Positive Behaviour Routines in the Home Environment” and “Relationships, Sexuality & Autism”.  With approximately 60 participants over three sessions, the feedback was excellent.
